Our Winter Choir had a memorable day performing for the public at The Staffordshire Regimental Museum’s “Christmas in the Trenches” event. Their festive songs set a warm atmosphere. Between performances, they explored the WW1 trenches and watched a moving reenactment of the 1914 Christmas Truce, including the historical no-mans land football match—a powerful symbol of peace. They then wrote letters to the North Pole in the trench office before meeting Santa Claus in his grotto, beautifully blending history and holiday cheer.
