Year 5 launched their Geography Fieldwork Festival with a fantastic Bellboating trip on the Fazeley Canal. The outing perfectly linked geography to our Literacy topic, Kensuke’s Kingdom.
Using exceptional teamwork skills, pupils navigated the canal, discussing the local area and the diverse habitats of local wildlife. This provided real-world opportunities to observe physical features and collect information for their fieldwork reports.
