Founders Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a celebration of our Griffin Schools Trust roots and our most important Proud Tradition.
The day began with community connection, as we welcomed Y3 parents into school for a shared breakfast to start the day together. Later, we kept the celebrations going with an afternoon tea for Year 5, with an impressive spread of cakes, pizza, and sausage rolls.
During the day our children supported our community with some joining forces with Pioneer to surprise shoppers at Sainsbury’s with treats, spreading smiles across the neighborhood. While others took to the school grounds for a community litter pick. In school, our Griffins attended a special assembly, exploring our place within the Griffin Schools Trust, and then spent the afternoon diving into heritage projects to uncover stories from our 6o-year history.
