As part of their reading topic, our Year 6 students stepped into a world of enchantment during an unforgettable visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. The day offered a unique blend of cinematic wonder and hands-on learning, starting with a fascinating Costume Workshop. Here, the children became designers for the day as they discovered the secret art of “distressing” fabrics, learning exactly how artists use sandpaper and paint to make costumes look battle-worn or centuries old.
The magic continued as the students explored the iconic sets, with the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley proving to be a particular favorite. The excitement reached its peak at Gringotts Bank, where everyone stood in awe as the formidable dragon guarded its vaults. It was a truly spellbinding day that sparked creative inspiration and gave our Year 6 cohort a deep appreciation for the artistry behind the films.
