History came to life for Year 5 during an incredible educational visit to the Staffordshire Regiment Museum. The trip perfectly complemented their classroom topic on World War II, giving the children a real insight into life on the home front.
The pupils, who dressed as evacuees, explored the challenging experiences of being a child during wartime and even experienced what it was like to take cover inside a bomb shelter. The absolute highlight of the day was the unforgettable opportunity to climb aboard some historic tanks. It was a brilliant hands-on learning experience for our young historians!
