We were delighted to receive a visit from Paulette Hamilton, MP for Birmingham, Erdington. Mrs Hamilton visited classrooms and answered questions from our Griffins regarding how she became an MP and what her role entails. She met our own Pupil Parliament and discussed the current projects they are working on in the school as well as the impact they have had so far this year.Ā It was a great opportunity for children to put a face to British Democracy and to consider where their ‘High Achievements’ may lead them in the future. At the end of her visit, she extended an invitation for some of our Griffins to go on a tour at the Houses of Parliament, which we will certainly be arranging soon to further ‘Widen Horizons’ for our Griffins.
