To commemorate Remembrance Day, our Head Boy and Head Girl continued our Proud Tradition of taking a poppy wreath to the war memorial at St Cuthbert’s Church. They learnt about the 605 squadron, who were based in Castle Vale during the war and Father James showed them the company standard and the roll of honour.Ā In school, all our Griffins helped to make giant poppies which were displayed on our school gates. We also presented a poppy to Castle Pool Community Partnership, who displayed it by the pool over remembrance weekend.
